Spirit of Faith

Spirit of Faith Ministries was birthed in Pastor Beasley’s heart in 1995. The ministry had its first worship service on June 4, 1997 at Goings Elementary School in Birmingham, Alabama. After several months, worship services were moved to a banquet room at Motel Birmingham. Within a year, the church had grown and was ready to acquire a facility. God blessed with the dedication of its first worship facility in April 1998 in the Eastlake community located in Birmingham, Alabama. The church thrived and grew through faith-filled prayer, dynamic teaching, heart-felt evangelism, and committed Christians. After five years of periodic membership growth and decline, God impressed upon Pastor Beasley to appoint Pastors Willie and Felicia Williams to continue the work as He wanted Pastor Beasley and wife to move to Atlanta, Georgia, to begin another church plant. Pastor Beasley, recognizing the confirmed Apostolic call of God upon his life, obeyed God and made the transition. After moving to Atlanta in 2002, Pastors Morcease and Lavern are in anticipation of God’s dynamic move as He continues to bless the work of their hands both in Birmingham, Alabama and Covington, Georgia.
